1. Installing VPN client software

In order to use Anonymous Proxy Server VPN services you will need to download and install one of the following free VPN clients for Unix:

PPTP Client (Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD)

• Description: PPTP Client is a Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD client for the proprietary Microsoft Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol, PPTP

Opensource IPSec VPN client

• Description: Free opensource IPSec VPN client. Supported platforms: Linux (i386/ppc/zaurus) NetBSD, FreeBSD, MacOSX, Solaris. You will need to download and use the following configuration profile: VPN-Proxy.pcf

2. Configuring the VPN client

The options listed below should be set for the PPTP VPN connection:

• Username/Password: <your account details> (set your VPN username as "123456@pptp", where "123456" is the username you have received in the account opening email)



• VPN Server IP address: 67.213.70.210



• PPTP Compression: On (optional)



• PPTP Encryption: 40-bit or 128-bit (optional)



• Set default route: yes
