Please [log in . . . »] to check your subscription status and your account service options.
2. Anonymous Proxy Server VPN software download and installation
- To start using Anonymous Proxy Server services you will need to download and install VPN Client software or to configure your machine build-in VPN adapter. In other words, there are two VPN access options:
- Download and install VPN Client software. This is recommended option - VPN client will allow you to connect through the NAT/PAT firewalls.
- Configure operating system build-in VPN adapter (PPTP protocol). No software download will be required in this case. VPN adapter setup is similar to dial-up connection and takes a few minutes. Cons of this connection method is that PPTP protocol is sensitive to intermediate firewalls, and most probably you will be required to adjust your firewall settings to allow VPN connection. We have placed detailed instructions on adjusting firewall settings in [Troubleshooting . . . »] section.
- Please select you operating system and follow the instructions to download the VPN Client software or configure VPN access using operating system build-in PPTP VPN adapter.
- Note: you will need your Anonymous Proxy Server username/password to access the set up instruction and to download the software:
- Windows 98/NT/2000//XP/ Vista (32-bit):
- Windows 98/NT/2000//XP/ Vista / Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit):
- MacOS OS X 10.2 or higher (both PowerPC and Intel processors):
- MacOS OS X any version:
- Linux/FreeBSD:
- VPN capable router:
- Many home and office routers (or DSL modems with router functionality) are able to use VPN to connect to the Internet. Using such a router you may connect through the VPN your entire home/office network. Please read your router documentation to check the VPN protocols supported. Note: "VPN Pass through" feature does not mean that your router is VPN capable. Router should have VPN client functionality to connect to external VPN servers. In order to connect to our servers using a VPN capable router, please [Contact Us . . . »] stating your Anonymous Proxy Server username, router model and protocol you plan to use (our servers support both IPSec and PPTP VPN protocols). We will provide all the necessary data to configure your device.
